Who should apply?

We welcome applications from experienced mentors, induction tutors, and CPD leads who:

• Have knowledge and understanding of the Early Career Framework and how this supports Early Career Teacher development.
• Are competent using Microsoft Teams/Zoom (or another online platform).
• Have the support their Headteacher to undertake this role.

Materials will be provided for each session, together with training from University College London and East Manchester Teaching School Hub.

Payment

East Manchester Teaching School Hub will pay the schools of trained facilitators at a rate of £350 per day, termly, in arrears. Notice period by either party is one term.

  • An understanding of excellent practice in leading adult learning.
  • An understanding of how evidence-based practice can be used to develop ECT professional development.
  • An in-depth understanding of the new statutory requirements for the registration, induction, mentoring and assessment requirements, as regulated and quality assured by the new Appropriate Bodies for ECF.
