Early Career Teachers

At East Manchester Teaching School Hub we offer the Golden Thread of Teacher Training and Development from Initial Teacher Training to Specialist and Leadership NPQs.

An Early Career Teacher (ECT) is a teacher in the first two years of their career.

During this time ECTs will:

• complete a two-year legal statutory induction; and,
• engage in the Early Career Framework (ECF): a fully-funded entitlement to a structured two-year package of high-quality professional development.

For Early Career Teachers, we offer Appropriate Body services, the Early Career Framework Programme in partnership with University College London, and additional CPD opportunities.
