Register your ECT
It’s easy to register your ECT for our Appropriate Body service and for the Early Career Framework. Please follow the steps below:
Step One
To do the Early Career Framework with us, please complete Step One.
Register your ECT on the DfE Portal
This activates funding for schools. Please select UCL as your training provider.
Step Two
To use our Appropriate Body service, please complete Step Two.
Register your ECT on ECT Manager
All ECTs are required to be registered with an Appropriate Body for Statutory Induction.
Updates on ECT Manager can also be made here.
Step Three
If you are new to working with us, please complete Step Three.
Contact us
All new schools are required to confirm their intent to work with us on the Early Career Framework and/or Appropriate Body.
Step Four
Register your ECTs on one of our Autumn 2026 Conferences through Get September Ready
Get September Ready
All ECTs, Mentors, and Induction Tutors are required to attend our Autumn 2026 Get September Ready Conferences as part of their statutory requirements or engagement. We have multiple dates available which can all be found on our booking page.
