NPQs – Apply for Autumn 2022!
We are so happy to be offering NPQs for Autumn 2022 after the successful launch in 2021! We will be running all programmes in partnership with UCL delivered by a team of experienced facilitators.

EMTSH Spring half-term
It has been a great half-term at the East Manchester Teaching School Hub! We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Early Career Teachers, Mentors and Induction Tutors – we are delighted to be working with you.

The intake has now closed for January registration, we have enjoyed meeting our new Early Career Teachers in the online learning community sessions last week! If you couldn’t attend, please make sure you catch up with the recording on UCL eXtend.
The intake is now open for April registrations, if you have any Early Career Teachers starting in April you can register them on the DfE website.
Appropriate Body
All new Early Career Teachers require an Appropriate Body for quality assurance of progress reviews and assessments. If you haven’t yet registered your Early Career Teacher with an Appropriate Body, please get in touch!
NPQ
Welcome to our new facilitators who are getting ready for the Spring cohort. Applications have now closed, those who have applied will receive more information shortly.
Applications will reopen in the Summer for the Autumn 2022 intake. More information on the new suite of NPQ’s can be found here

NPQs : Spotlight on Leading Behaviour and Culture
The NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture is a brand new programme designed to support leadership development for colleagues currently in roles, or aspiring to hold, roles such as :
- Academic Year Leader
- Pastoral Year Leader
- Phase or Key Stage Leader
- Learning Mentors
- Inclusion Leaders
- HLTAs
- Leaders with responsibility for wellbeing or behaviour
- Leaders with responsibility for pupils’ safety and wellbeing
- Teacher and support staff who work in Pupil Referral Units or Alternative Provision.
Applicants for this programme are not required to have QTS
As with all the NPQs, this programme is fully funded for all colleagues working in state schools and will cover three modules:
1.Culture and Ethos
2. Curriculum and Teaching
3. Organisational Effectiveness
Module 2 is designed from the Early Career Framework and suitable for staff at all levels and responsibilities.
